Privacy Policy
How we handle your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Draft for review. Last updated 25 October 2026. Details in [square brackets] are still to be filled in.
Who we are
Clever Commerce is a trading name of Marcin Rotter (sole trader), ABN 75 003 445 156, Tasmania. Contact: [contact email].
What we collect
When you order we collect your name, email and phone; your business name, website URL, business type, goal, what you offer and style notes; any images you upload; your chosen pack and formats; and payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our server. Our server also keeps standard technical logs such as IP address and browser.
Why we collect it
To create your ads, process your payment, send your download link and launch guides, give support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your information or use your images to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need: Stripe (payments), xAI (AI generation of images, video and voiceover from your details and images), Vultr (server hosting) and our email provider [email provider] (order emails). We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Overseas disclosure
Some of these providers process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
Uploaded images and generated ad files are deleted 30 days after delivery. Free preview images (both the watermarked and the clean versions) are stored privately for 7 days and then deleted automatically, unless you buy them or include them in an order. Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually 5 to 7 years).
Security
Files are stored privately and download links use long secret codes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing [contact email]. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
Email [contact email] and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
